BIO 380RM Field Investigation in Tropical Rainforest Ecology

Course Description:

Tropical Rainforest! Basically, nothing in our temperate zone, agricultural/urban, first-world lives and culture offers any clue about life and biology in the tropics. For biology students, there can be no richer educational experience than studying rainforests. This course will provide you with an introduction to rainforest ecology, the natural history of prominent rainforest organisms, and executing scientific research.

This course satisfies: Second Language/International Awareness (globe), NS-1, Upper-Level and ā€œSā€ Course Spring Requirement.
