My hometown is

Rochester Hills, MI

My major(s):

German, Biology

I'm involved in:

German Club and cheerleading.

After I graduate I plan to

go to graduate school.

My favorite place on campus is

the Hogan Center.

Some of my favorite professors include

Dr. Hill and Dr. Liu.

So far, my favorite class(es) has/have been

biology and German.

My greatest accomplishment at Alma is

becoming part of a team that I absolutely adore and discovering who I am and what I want.

I'd advise an Alma freshman to

realize that everyone is just as nervous as you. You may think you are the only one that doesn’t know what is going on, but everyone is feeling the same way. Don’t be afraid to reach out or as for help; it is the best way to make friends. Also, just have fun. Don’t think you can’t take a class that piques your interest just because it isn’t part of your plan. Being a student at a liberal arts school means you are encouraged to do things you like and graduate on time. You have time.

I'd tell a student considering coming to Alma

that small schools like Alma are awesome; you couldn’t find better professors or classes. Honestly, it’s best to do what you feel is right. You can always change your mind, but its important to chose where you want to go and what you want to do. College is all about making your own decisions.

What I like most about studying at Alma is

that all of the faculty and staff are set on helping you reach your goals and it feels like a real family here. I love being able to choose the type of classes I want and feeling like a student rather than just a number.

My favorite part about living on campus is

being close to everything including class, meals and my friends.
