Allison Warren
My hometown when I was a student was
I graduated in
I studied
elementary education
I currently live in
I am now
My Alma education
really helped me learn how to manage my time and just go with the flow, not be quite so regimented. … I teach three grades now, so I have to be on my toes all the time to be able to switch between the grades and be able to answer questions and to make sure when we do group lessons, I can keep it so all my students can understand it.
My favorite place(s) on campus included
anywhere my friends were. Even if the location or activity was not my favorite, they were able to make it enjoyable.
My favorite professors(s) included
Dr. Aspinall, Dr. Thelen, Dr. Seals and Dr. Findley
My most vivid/best memory of my time at Alma is
meeting my best friend. We had met at Becoming a Scot Day and did not immediately hit it off. After meeting again on campus because she and my roommate were in the same FYS, we became friends and then best friends. We laugh about the meeting now.
My off-campus study experience(s) included
traveling to Chicago for a week during Spring Term of my junior year for REL 181. While there, I was able to learn about different religions and, in the process, look deeper into myself and my beliefs.
