Melissa Allen
Melissa Allen was a stellar example of a liberal arts student while she studied here at Alma College. She was interested in writing and literature, gaming, history and travel, just to name a few things. It is no surprise that Melissa has used her Alma education to begin what we are sure will be a life long love of learning, adventure and travel.
My hometown when I was a student was

I am now
Since graduating from Alma
I have accomplished a lot of things I never would have imagined, including
living in Japan (Jet Programme), going to grad school for library science, and
travelling the world (including the ’06 Winter Olympics in Torino).
My Alma education
opened new avenues for me.
My favorite place(s) on campus included
the library, of course! It was THE hangout spot during my time there.
My favorite professors(s) included
my history seminar instructor, Dr. Terry Fleming.
My most vivid/best memory of my time at Alma is
gaming in the basement of the Dunning Memorial Chapel.
