Andrea Worful earned her Bachelors of Music in Music Theory from Converse College and pursued her Masters of Music in Music Theory at Michigan State University. She has studied bassoon with Michael Kroth, associate professor at Michigan State University; Barrick Stees, assistant principal bassoonist of the Cleveland Orchestra; and Sonja Condit Coppenbarger, principal bassoonist of the Hendersonville Symphony Orchestra. Professionally, Ms. Worful teaches with Alma College and the MSU Community Music School, and has played bassoon with the Lansing Symphony Orchestra, Alma Symphony Orchestra and Albion College Orchestra. While earning her Bachelors, she also enjoyed two years as the second bassoonist with the Brevard Chamber Orchestra in Brevard, North Carolina. In addition to playing bassoon, Ms. Worful also sings and plays recorder with the Renaissance Singers of Lansing.
