I am a licensed certified public accountant and a certified management accountant. I have over 20 years in industry and public accounting experience. I began teaching part time in 2008 and made it my full time career in 2012. I bring real world experience to the classroom and incorporate my love of accounting into each class.

I've led
The Alma College Business Professionals of America to the National Leadership Conference in Dallas TX, May 2018 and Anaheim, CA, May 2019 and virtually, May 2021. Students raked in the top of the nation in their competition categories.
The Alma Accounting Association in volunteering to prepare 2017 tax returns for community members. We returned nearly $20,000 in federal, state and home heating dollars to 30 Michigan taxpayers.
