Lecturer, Department of Sociology

The Department of Sociology at Alma College, Alma, Michigan invites applications for the position of Lecturer for the 2022-2023 year. This is a full-time, non-tenure-track faculty position beginning August 2022.

The department seeks a candidate who will demonstrate a commitment to excellence in undergraduate teaching in a liberal arts context. Teaching responsibilities will include courses such as Principles of Sociology, Social Deviance, and other courses to cover departmental needs. A Ph.D. is strongly preferred, but candidates who are ABD or with a master’s degree will be considered.

Review of applications will begin April 15th and will continue until the position is filled.
