Sports Information - Game Announcer

The Sports Information department is currently looking for game announcers to assist with home competitions.  This is a great opportunity for those who have a passion for sports and want to help create the best possible gameday experience for the teams, guests and student-athletes of Alma College.  A person with a positive attitude who likes to have fun at a job will fit well in this position.  

Job Duties include:

  • Announcing starting line-ups for each team and each event
  • Announce key events in-game (goal scored by Greer or Stevens with a 3 pointer)
  • Make pre-game, halftime and post game announcements.

Required skills:

  • Communicate with other clearly and effectivley
  • Ability to speak clear and concise
  • Promote teamwork and positivity
  • Ability to adjust to new situations

Preferred skills:

  • Knowledge of sports played by Alma College
