Adjunct - Economics

The Economics Department at Alma College invites applications for an adjunct position in Economics beginning August 2021.

Qualifications: A Ph.D. or ABD in Economics is preferred. The program would consider an M.A. with relevant teaching experience. Applicants should enjoy teaching and demonstrate a commitment to undergraduate liberal arts education.

Teaching Responsibilities: The successful applicant will teach one in-person section of Principles of Macroeconomics during our 14-week Fall Term 2021. This class meets Tuesday and Thursday, 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM. Beyond normal teaching responsibilities, the successful candidate will choose the textbook and create the class syllabus.
