Instructor, Department of Communication and New Media Studies

The Department of Communication and New Media Studies at Alma College invites applications for a full-time Instructor (non-tenure track) beginning in August of 2020. The successful candidate will be expected to teach courses in the following areas: relational/interpersonal communication, communication research methods, intercultural communication, and public speaking. Willingness to teach additional courses beyond those listed is highly desirable.


A commitment to undergraduate teaching in a liberal arts setting is required. A Ph.D. in Communication is preferred, however an M.A. or an M.S. in Communication with teaching experience will be considered.
