Flora Kirsch Beck Gallery Opens with Student Show

Mediums include paintings, drawings, sculptures and more.

The Alma College Flora Kirsch Beck Gallery opens the 2019-20 exhibit year with a showing of artistic pieces from the college’s own students.

The artwork comes in a variety of mediums including paintings, drawings, sculptures and more created by students of all majors and years. There are projects from last semester’s art classes on display, including self-portraits and black-and-white photographs.

The exhibit can be found inside the gallery of the Clack Art Center through Sept. 26. Hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays through Fridays and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturdays. Admission is free and open to the public.

The closing reception will be held in the gallery from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 26.
