Open Rank Tenure Track Position in Computer Science

Alma College invites applications for a tenure-track faculty appointment in Computer Science to begin Fall 2019. All areas of specialization will be considered, with particular interest in areas exciting to undergraduates such as Computer Security, Machine Learning, Data Mining, Data Analytics, or Artificial Intelligence. Candidates should enjoy teaching a wide variety of undergraduate courses and be committed to excellence in teaching.  Other responsibilities include active scholarship, supervising undergraduate research, and service to the campus community.  Teaching experience and Ph.D. in Computer Science or a closely related field required; ABD may be considered for initial appointment at Instructor level. Applicants at the associate or full professor level will also be considered. The successful candidate will be expected to help develop new programs and engage in interdisciplinary scholarship across the College.
