Alma College Earns Military Friendly Designation

“Our student veteran population benefits from the collaborative and personalized approach that our administrators, faculty and staff take with each and every one of our students.” — Nolan Lienhart

Alma College has earned the 2018-19 Military Friendly® School designation.

Since 2001, Victory Media has compiled its Military Friendly® Schools list to provide veterans a standard by which to measure the accessibility and navigability of higher education institutions.

“Alma College is proud to announce that we have again made the list and have earned their Military Friendly® designation for the coming school year,” says Nolan Lienhart, assistant director of admissions at Alma College.

“Our student veteran population benefits from the collaborative and personalized approach that our administrators, faculty and staff take with each and every one of our students,” he says. “We could not have earned this recognition without the hard work of many folks across our campus.”

Institutions earning the designation were evaluated using both public data sources and responses from a student survey. Final ratings were determined by combining the institutions’ survey scores with assessment of the institution’s ability to meet thresholds in such areas as student retention, graduation, job placement and persistence to degree.
