Board of Trustees Welcomes New Members
The Alma College Board of Trustees welcomes four new members, effective July 1, 2017. Joining the 34-member board are:
Mark Hall, chief brand officer, Monster Energy Corporation, Corona, Calif. He is a 1978 graduate of Alma College.
Burt Jordan, vice president, global vehicle and powertrain purchasing and supplier diversity, Ford Motor Company, Dearborn, Mich. He is a 1989 graduate of Alma College.
Stephen F. Meyer, retired president and chief executive officer of Welch Allen, a global provider of medical diagnostic products and solutions. A 1980 Alma College graduate, he rejoins the board after serving the past year as Alma College’s executive-in-residence.
Kim Taylor, managing director/president, Chicago Mercantile Exchange-Clearing and Post-Trade Services, Chicago. She is a 1983 graduate of Alma College.
The board officers remain unchanged for 2017-18. Michael Sherman ’74 continues as board chair, Eric Blackhurst ’83 as vice chair and Darryl Schimeck ’82 as secretary.
