Great Scots: Jodie Reeves and Nan Freed
Administrative assistants Jodie Reeves and Nan Freed are recognized for their organization skills and attention-to-detail.
“Planning for events such as Honors Day and Commencement require collaboration and attention-to-detail by many individuals across campus,” wrote the president in his monthly update to the campus. “Jodie and Nan are two individuals who deserve special recognition. They organize meetings, coordinate schedules, collect information, proofread text and produce the programs that highlight the accomplishments of our students and faculty. They do a great job.”
Reeves has been an Alma College employee for 19 years, joining the Provost’s Office in 1998.
Freed has worked at Alma for 36 years, beginning her employment in 1981.
President Abernathy periodically presents the Great Scot Award to members of the faculty and staff for “excellence in service to Alma College.”
