Great Scot: Christina Snoblen

Custodian Christina Snoblen is recognized by her supervisors for good job performance and as someone who brings an upbeat attitude to work every day.

Christina provides custodial duties for Tyler-Van Dusen, Clack Art and other buildings as needed.

“The college’s custodians and housekeepers provide a valuable service to our students,” wrote the president in his monthly update to the campus. “While they work typically outside of the public eye, many develop positive relationships with our students, and their efforts contribute significantly to both student recruitment and retention.

“Christina is recognized by her supervisors for good job performance and as someone who brings an upbeat attitude to work every day. She always is willing to help others and be a team player.”

She has been an employee with Alma College since June 2014.

President Abernathy periodically presents the Great Scot Award to members of the faculty and staff for “excellence in service to Alma College.”
