Alma College Theatre presents “A Streetcar Named Desire”

7:30pm - 9:30pm EST February 17

Location: Remick Heritage Center, Strosacker Theatre

In his Pulitzer Prize winning drama, Tennessee Williams explores what happens to gentle souls when the unforgiving realities of the world and its cruelest denizens inflict their will.

After losing her home to bank debts, southern belle Blanche DuBois is forced to sell her family home and move in with her sister, Stella, and her brutish husband, Stanley, in a poorer quarter of New Orleans at the final stop of the Desire Streetcar route. Past sins are revealed, and current sins are committed as Blanche dreams of rebuilding her life while Stanley undermines her at every turn.

Tickets: $15 adults, $7 seniors 62+; Alma College staff, students and youth 18 and under are free; seating is reserved.
