Hispanic Heritage Month Food & Dance

5:30pm - 7:00pm EDT September 27

Location: Chapel

The DI Office is inviting Ballet Folklorico de la Luz to teach us the history and steps of one of Mexico’s traditional forms of dance. Food is provided. Notify Julia if you plan to attend and have dietary restrictions.

Ballet Folklórico de la Luz (BFL) is a registered student organization from Central Michigan University dedicated to promoting awareness of Latino/Hispanic culture on campus. Join us for the opportunity to learn the art of ballet folklórico as a way of self-expression and telling traditional Mexican stories.

You might even get a cameo dance lesson from our very own Jonathan Glenn and Alejandro Salais if you’re lucky!

Free and open to the public
