Alma Victory Day

2:00pm - 4:00pm EDT October 10

Location: Outdoor Areas, Bahlke Stadium

The Partners of Special Education Students (POSES) is putting on this event to provide a fun day for special education students and to help promote a community of awareness and acceptance.

Alma Victory Day is an event set up for cognitively and physically impaired high school students to have an opportunity to play football and cheer. This will be their moment to shine.

Each student will be partnered up with an Alma football player or Alma cheerleader who will serve as their mentor for the day. The student will wear a Victory Day jersey and hold cheer pom poms and line up on the 50 yard line with their mentor. Our PA announcer will introduce each student as they run through a tunnel formed by the other students and mentors into the end zone. Parents can be seated in the end zone to take pictures as their child runs through the tunnel.

If you would like to volunteer for the event, please contact Natalie Walsh!

Free and open to the public
