Working Toward Justice: A Panel Discussion on the Flint Water Crisis

7:00pm - 8:30pm EDT March 18

Location: Zoom

Alma College will host a three-person panel discussing social justice, while using the Flint water crisis as a case study, as part of its continued 2020-21 Presidential Speaker Series.

Anna Clark, Claire McClinton and Cedric Taylor will gather live, on Zoom, for the discussion, which is open to the public.

As a “marketplace of ideas” at Alma College, we welcome speakers from a variety of political viewpoints to speak on campus. By welcoming those from left, right and points in between, we hope to foster conversations that, while challenging, are rooted in civility and our shared humanity.

In this way, the Presidential Speaker Series this year intends to model civil discourse around the question of how we can create communities that are more just, equitable and sustainable.

Free and open to the public
