The Clothesline Project

10:00am - 5:00pm EDT October 4

Location: Friday, Oct. 4 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Outside the Wilcox Center Building

This powerful visual display is made up of t-shirts created by survivors of violence, or created in honor of someone who has experienced violence.

The Clothesline Project provides evidence that incest, domestic violence, and sexual violence exist in our communities.  It is a visual reminder of statistics that we often ignore.  The mission of the Clothesline Project is to educate students and the community that violence is a problem everywhere, help is available, there is hope and a path to healing.

The Clothesline Project has been displayed at Alma College each year since 1995.  If you have never experienced the Clothesline Project, you really need to stop by to view this powerful display.  We hope to see you.

Free and open to the public
