The focus of each Gentle Yoga session is to provide a pause in your day that enables you to find rest, release and calm in the body and mind.
In Gentle Yoga we will practice meditation/mindfulness by paying attention to the sensations within the body, espeically the sensation of breath. We will move the spine in six different directions and the hips in two different directions in order to find balance of flexibility and strength within our bodies. One of the staples of our practice together will be the half sun-salutation, where we will work to find synchronicity between our breath and our movement.
