Borrowing & Access
Check out and pick up all library materials right inside the front door!
The Circulation Desk is located at the library’s main entrance. All materials are borrowed and returned through the Circulation Department. Library staff members and/or student assistants are available to help you at this desk anytime that the Library is open. All you have to do is ask.
Library materials may be borrowed by all members of the Alma College Community. Please have your College ID ready to speed along the process.
Loan Periods:
Most books and all CDs – 3 weeks
Videos – 1 week
Unbound periodicals – 2 days
Reserves – (most) 2 hours
Overdue fines:
Most items: $0.25/day
Periodicals: $0.25/day
Reserves: $0.25/hour
