    Dunning Memorial Chapel
     
    Chaplain Pomerville will be sharing some of the surprising, funny, sad and inspiring things we all overhear at Homecoming as we gather in worship, communion and hope for what is to come. All are welcome in this Multi-Denominational Christian Worship service in the chapel from 7:00-7:45 pm.

    Help support local students from Alma and St. Louis public schools have a successful start to their academic year! The Alma College Chapel is hosting a School Care Package event. Donations are welcome throughout the month of September!

  • 7 p.m. - 8 p.m.: Christian Worship Service

    Authentic, engaging and enthusiastic weekly Christian worship service held in the chapel, led by Chaplain Andrew Pomerville student musicians/leaders.

  • 9 a.m. - 6 p.m.: Field of Flags 
    Lawn between Library and Clack

    Field of flags is a depiction of the number of college students (1,100) who die by suicide every year. Please come by to observe this powerful representation.

  • 10 a.m. - 11 a.m.: Water Aerobics 
    Hogan Pool

    Water aerobics classes are a fun, social way to be active! Classes are low-impact and can be modified to fit individual goals and health status. Classes are free for anyone with a pool or rec center membership. Membership rates can be found at  https://www.alma.edu/stone-center/memberships/.

     It’s a great show with many strong pieces in various media by students you’ll all recognize.

    Athletic Director Candidate, Sarah Dehring, will be presenting to campus.

    Stone Recreation Center, Multipurpose Room

    ‘Ditch the Workout – Join the Party!” Zumba fitness is an effective interval-style, full-body workout with built-in variety because every class is slightly different.

    ACOG invites all students and personnel to join us in discussing important events, shows, or having a de-stressing time playing board games, card games, or video games! Not everyone enjoys all the same things, but we hold to our members being open and welcoming to all!

    Art Smith Arena

    Motivational and Mental Health Speaker.  As a teenager, Jeff lost interest in life, in school, in himself. Using his challenges as inspiration, Jeff began his career; he changes lives. Jeff is regarded as an expert on teen mental health, suicide prevention, and crisis intervention.
