    On Wednesday, November 13, Alma College will upgrade our website content management system, LiveWhale. We will be holding an open forum to answer immediate questions. 

     

    This upgrade brings up us to date with the latest technology LiveWhale has to offer, streamlines our editing process, and helps us make our website more accessible to our users.

     

    In the upcoming months we will hold LiveWhale refresher courses to review and introduce some of the new features of LiveWhale 1.7.

    Human Resources - Centennial House

    As we previously announced, Alma has joined with other member institutions from Michigan Independent Colleges & Universities (MICU) to establish a single retirement plan called a 403(b) Multiple Employer Plan (MEP).

     

    Financial advisors from Millennium Advisory Services will be available to speak one-on-one with employees  to:

    • Answer questions about the retirement plan changes.
    • Provide counseling and advice.
    • Offer financial planning.
    • Offer optional Managed Account Solution.

    Human Resources will be holding to talk about upcoming changes for the 2020 benefits year.

    Hogan Pool

    Water aerobics classes are a fun, social way to be active! Classes are low-impact and can be modified to fit individual goals and health status. Classes are free for anyone with a pool or rec center membership. Membership rates can be found at  https://www.alma.edu/stone-center/memberships/.

    Grieving Through the Holidays is an educational and support group for those who are struggling with grief or loss through the holiday season hosted by the Counseling & Wellness Center. Free and open to students experiencing any type of grief or loss.
