  • Global Challenge8 a.m. - 7 p.m. EDT: Global Challenge 
    SAC
    The Alma College Global Challenge is a United Nations Security Council crisis simulation, addressing topics such as the Russian invasion of Ukraine, the Ebola outbreak in West Africa and the devastating effects of climate change. Campers will represent the 15 countries on the Security Council and work together to draft resolutions that outline solutions to the crisis at hand.
  • Wrestling Camp8 a.m. - 7 p.m. EDT: Wrestling Camp 
    Cappaert Gym
    Alma College wrestling camp is focused on the development of the complete wrestler. In addition to covering technical aspects, the camp includes a focus on practice and competitive mentality, strength training and leadership.
  • STEM--Research Week I8 a.m. - 7 p.m. EDT: STEM--Research Week I 
    Dow
    Middle and high school students gain experiences that help them expand their knowledge of science and math while addressing real world issues. Each team of students works alongside Alma College faculty and students as they complete a mini project in a STEM discipline in laboratories on campus and in the field. The results of the projects are presented at the close of the week in a science fair type fashion.
  • Not So Great Lakes Camp8 a.m. - 7 p.m. EDT: Not So Great Lakes Camp

    Students engage with Alma College science faculty and students as well with officials from the Michigan Department of Environmental Quality and Environmental Protection Agency in collecting field samples and running analyses on the watersheds of the Great Lakes.
  • Filmmaking Camp8 a.m. - 7 p.m. EDT: Filmmaking Camp 
    Alma College
    High school and incoming Alma students are introduced to the tricks and techniques behind some of their favorite films. Campers work side-by-side with other campers to plan, shoot and edit a film.
