Fitness Classes

New fitness classes coming soon! Please check back.

Pickleball

A paddle sport created for all ages and skill levels. The rules are simple and the game is easy for beginners to learn but can develop into a quick, fast-paced, competitive game for experienced players.

PiYo

PiYo is a combination of Pilates and Yoga that is often done to music. PiYo allows for muscle toning, while also aiding in overall flexibility, as seen in normal yoga practice.

Water Aerobics (located in the Hogan Center)

Water aerobics is a great way to workout while providing stability on your joints. Water aerobics is resistance training done in shallow waist-deep water. It’s low impact while building strength…and a whole lot of fun!

Yoga

Yoga is another fun class that helps you burn even more calories. These classes require students to hold complex poses, offering an intense workout. You’ll learn how to perfect a plank pose and other mind/body postures. Plus, they provide significant health and fitness benefits beyond a high-calorie burn.

Energizing Flow Yoga

Energizing Flow Yoga is meant to invigorate the body, mind, and senses with physically challenging, yet attainable sequences. Learn how to focus your body’s energies to build strength, balance, and endurance, end with an extended Savasana. Perfect for beginners and advanced yogis looking to return to the roots of yoga!

Slow Flow Yoga

Here, we will begin with a brief meditation, transition into a variety of poses or asanas, combine those with a few static poses, and end with an extended Savasana. Perfect for beginners and advanced yogis looking to return to the roots of yoga.

Gentle Yoga

Gentle yoga combines breath with movement as a way to build mindfulness and a connection to the here and now. It starts with a centering activity and moves into a time of learning breath technique to help provide focus. Then the session moves into movement by transitioning from pose to pose. This practice helps to build flexibility in the body and mind. Mats are provided and class is free!

Zumba

Forget the workout, just lose yourself in the music and find yourself in shape at the original dance-fitness party. ZUMBA® classes feature exotic rhythms set to high-energy Latin and international beats. Before you know it, you’ll be getting fit and your energy levels will soar! It’s easy to do, effective and totally exhilarating. Classes are led by Tincy Goggin. Come in and give it a shot!
