Facilities

Our 53,000-square-foot facility offers you four basketball, volleyball and tennis courts on the main level with options for roller hockey, inline skating, dodgeball and indoor soccer.

Bike Share Program

You can now rent urban-style bicycles through our Bike Share Program.

  • Check out a bike by downloading the Movatic App or by visiting the front desk.
  • The app requires credit card information; however, students and college employees are not charged for use.
  • Community members may purchase a $30 subscription for yearly access.
  • You can use the app to help answer questions or report any issues.

Climbing Wall

A 600-square-foot climbing wall featuring eight belay stations and lead climbing ropes makes up most of the Center’s west wall.

No experience is required to use the climbing wall during open hours (see below). Those who are 13-years-old or under must be accompanied by an adult, and anyone under 18-years-old must be signed in by an adult. All required equipment is provided, and a limited number of climbing shoes are available for use. Either climbing shoes or clean sneakers may be worn while using the wall.

Courts

The Alan J. Stone Recreation Center offers 3 full size courts, with one enclosed multipurpose court. These courts can be used for basketball, tennis, pickleball, volleyball, badminton, etc. Our multipurpose court is great for enclosed activities and sports such as indoor soccer, dodgeball, floor hockey, and so much more!

Fitness Room

The fitness room offers 26 cardiovascular machines: eight treadmills, nine stationary bikes, five stair climbers, three elliptical trainers, one rowing machine, and a variety of weight machines and free weights.

Multi-Purpose Room

The facility’s 1,750-square-foot multi-purpose room is used for aerobics, dance, fencing and martial arts classes.

Shower and Locker Facilities

Shower and locker facilities are also available for use in the Stone Center. The lockers are designed for daily use only.

Suspended Running Track

A suspended three-lane track rims the facility — 7.7 laps equals one mile on the inside lane and 7.4 laps equals one mile on the outside lane.
