Alma College offers conditional acceptance for international students who are otherwise qualified but do not meet the college’s English language proficiency requirement.
Students may choose among our three different pathway partners, offering high quality English as a Second Language (ESL) training, thus waiving the TOEFL or IELTS requirement.

A graduate of Mentora College’s University Pathway Program will not be required to produce an English language test score such as TOEFL, IELTS, or PTE or successful passing (80% minimum) of each of the following Advanced ESL Classes: ESL 500A, ESL 500B, ESL 500C and ESL Advanced Academic, Writing, and Presenting Course.
