Currie Scholars Program

This program supports student-faculty collaboration, awarding $2,500 for scholarly or creative projects.

Scholarship is defined as field or lab work in the sciences or social sciences, library or archival work in the humanities or social sciences, or creation of an original performance or art work in the fine and performing arts. Preference will be given to proposals which identify an appropriate output (e.g., paper presentation, poster session, exhibition, or performance) for the scholarship beyond the Alma campus. The proposal must demonstrate active collaboration between the student and the faculty mentor.

Please fill out an application below. Applications are due in early March and notification is late March. Applications will be reviewed by a committee consisting of the Provost and the chairpersons of the Humanities, Social Science and Natural Science divisions.

The submission period for this form has now ended.
