Fall Open House

Discover what it’s like to be an Alma College Scot at our Fall Open House. 

  • Learn about our admissions process, financial aid and scholarship opportunities;
  • hear from our current students about their own experiences;
  • choose which areas you would like a closer look at:
    • Programs of study in the areas of humanities, natural science, or social science
    • Life outside of class, including athletics, performing arts and life on campus

You’ll enjoy lunch and a tour of campus and complimentary tickets to watch our Scots in an afternoon football game!  Register today!

Highland Dance Day

Join our award winning Director of Highland Dance, Kate DeGood where will enjoy the opportunity to take both Choreography and Championship Technique classes.  You will enjoy a day filled with workshops, Q and A panels with current students, talks with Admissions representatives, auditions and a campus tour.

We’ve tailored this event specifically for high school juniors and their families. This is an important time in your college search process! We’ll answer your questions about academics, athletics, performing arts, financial aid and other college selection factors. Your day includes lunch and a tour of campus.

Model UN Day

Led by our outstanding Model UN Director, Dr. Derick “Sandy” Hulme. Students will learn more about developing leadership and teamwork skills by exploring international issues.

Tartan Days

Are you a true Scot? Find out at Tartan Day! The Student Organization Fair will showcase the many groups and clubs available to students. You’ll also learn more about travel opportunities, the Alma Venture, academic programs and graduate success.  Click here for more information.

Transfer Open Houses

Come learn more about what it is like to transfer to Alma College at one of our 2018-2019 Transfer Days! Whether you’re looking at transferring right away or if you aren’t sure of your plans, we invite you to attend this event. While you’re on campus, you will participate in the following activities:

  • Take a campus tour.
  • Meet Alma students that were transfer students themselves.
  • Speak with faculty and various campus offices during break-out sessions.
  • Learn more about the transfer admissions process.
  • Participate in auditions or interviews that you may be eligible for or interested in.
  • Enjoy lunch in our dining hall.
