Accounting Career Day

Join us on Tuesday, November 19th  for a look at the accounting profession and connect with CPAs and college students pursuing degrees in accounting.  Enjoy networking with professionals in the accounting field and current Alma College accounting students over lunch while you get your questions answered firsthand, and learn how an Alma education will help prepare you for a career in accounting.  Register today!

Fall Open House

Discover what it’s like to be an Alma College Scot at our Fall Open House on Saturday, October 26th. 

  • Learn about our admissions process, financial aid and scholarship opportunities;
  • hear from our current students about their own experiences;
  • dive deeper into programs both in and out of the classroom:
    • Programs of study in the areas of humanities, natural science, and social science
    • Life outside of class, including athletics, performing arts and life on campus

Scots on the Move

Enjoy our Fall Open House on Saturday, October 26th in style!  We’ll be providing two bus pick-up/drop-off locations so you and your guests can join us for a day of learning-both and and out of the classroom. (Presbytery of Detroit AND Warren Mott High School)

Highland Dance Day

Join our award winning Director of Highland Dance, Kate DeGood where you will enjoy the opportunity to take both Choreography and Championship Technique classes.  On Saturday, November 16th you will enjoy a day filled with workshops, Q and A panels with current students, talks with Admissions representatives, auditions and a campus tour.  Register today!

Highland Piping Day

Learn more about our Highland Arts Program at Alma College! Join our award winning Director of the Alma College Pipe Band, Andrew Duncan, as you enjoy an afternoon filled with a workshop, Q and A session, dinner and a campus tour.  Complimentary tickets to watch our own Kilte Marching Band perform in the evening will be available as well.  Register today!

Posey Global Leadership Dinner

This event showcases Alma College students who have taken advantage of our Posey Global Fellowship, which funds student international internships, volunteer opportunities, and research experiences. Model UN and P-GLOBAL have been especially valuable in creating opportunities for students interested in finding and pursuing their own unique passion. Scholars Summit

Scholars Summit is an invitation-only scholarship event for our accepted top-tier academic students.  Students who meet the eligibility requirements will have the opportunity to interview for an additional award.  Click here for more information.


Have you ever wondered what it’s like to be in one of the STEM fields; what jobs are available, what training is needed, what experiences are impactful?  If so, visit Alma College as we host our STEM Day on Monday, October 14, 2019. Join our faculty, staff, students, and alumni to experiment in the lab, ask your questions to STEM career experts, and learn how an Alma education will prepare you for a career in a STEM field.

Youth Group Open House

Get to know the spiritual life program at Alma College on Sunday, October 6th! You’ll meet current students, take a campus tour, learn about the admissions process, and meet other high school students and youth groups.  The day includes dinner and will be capped off with an evening worship service.  Register today!


Model UN Day

Led by our outstanding Model UN Director, Dr. Derick “Sandy” Hulme. Students will learn more about developing leadership and teamwork skills by exploring international issues on Friday, January 31, 2020 (registration link coming soon).


Junior Days

We’ve tailored this event specifically for high school juniors and their families. This is an important time in your college search process! We’ll answer your questions about academics, athletics, performing arts, financial aid, student life and other college selection factors. Your day includes lunch and a tour of campus. Tartan Days

Are you a true Scot? Find out at Tartan Day! The Student Organization Fair will showcase the many groups and clubs available to students. You’ll also learn more about travel opportunities, the Alma Venture, academic programs and graduate success.  Click here for more information.

Transfer Open Houses

Come learn more about what it is like to transfer to Alma College at one of our 2018-2019 Transfer Days! Whether you’re looking at transferring right away or if you aren’t sure of your plans, we invite you to attend this event. While you’re on campus, you will participate in the following activities:

  • Take a campus tour.
  • Meet Alma students that were transfer students themselves.
  • Speak with faculty and various campus offices during break-out sessions.
  • Learn more about the transfer admissions process.
  • Participate in auditions or interviews that you may be eligible for or interested in.
  • Enjoy lunch in our dining hall.
