Explore Alma

Solo and Ensemble Workshop

A full-day workshop for high school junior and senior vocal soloists.  Enjoy preparing for  MSVMA Solo & Ensemble Festival events, get to know the Alma College vocal staff, and perform with the Alma College Choir!  Space is limited— register today!

Participation in this workshop can qualify singers for an Alma College music scholarship!

Scholars Summit

Scholars Summit is an invitation-only scholarship event for our accepted top-tier academic students. Students who meet the eligibility requirements will have the opportunity to interview for an additional award. Click here for more information.

Model UN Day

Led by our outstanding Model UN Director, Dr. Derick “Sandy” Hulme. Students will learn more about developing leadership and teamwork skills by exploring international issues on Friday, January 31, 2020. Register today!


Junior Days

We’ve tailored this event specifically for high school juniors and their families. This is an important time in your college search process! We’ll answer your questions about academics, athletics, performing arts, financial aid, student life and other college selection factors. Your day includes lunch and a tour of campus. Tartan Days

Are you a true Scot? Find out at Tartan Day! The Student Organization Fair will showcase the many groups and clubs available to students. You’ll also learn more about travel opportunities, the Alma Venture, academic programs and graduate success.  Click here for more information.

Transfer Open Houses

Come learn more about what it is like to transfer to Alma College at one of our 2018-2019 Transfer Days! Whether you’re looking at transferring right away or if you aren’t sure of your plans, we invite you to attend this event. While you’re on campus, you will participate in the following activities:

  • Take a campus tour.
  • Meet Alma students that were transfer students themselves.
  • Speak with faculty and various campus offices during break-out sessions.
  • Learn more about the transfer admissions process.
  • Participate in auditions or interviews that you may be eligible for or interested in.
  • Enjoy lunch in our dining hall.
