Writing Center

The Writing Center serves Alma College students by offering peer support for student writing projects in a range of subjects and majors — as well for personal and career purposes.  

We have appointments available from 2-10 PM Monday to Thursday and on Sunday 6-10 PM during the academic year.*

Our peer writing consultants can help at any stage in the writing process — from brainstorming to drafting to revising and polishing a final draft.

We are committed to helping you develop your awareness of what you want to say (and how best to say it) in the context of your writing situation.  We value a diversity of language and experience.  We believe there are many ways to write well.
