Glee Club
Alma Acapella!
is the home for contemporary acapella singing at Alma College and the place for singers who love Acapella!
The two principal groups at this time are Scots on the Rocks (TTBB) and Pretty in Plaid (SSAA), and a new group of freshmen women Highland Harmonics. The singers also come together to sing SATB a cappella charts. New groups of any voicing can be formed as membership warrants.
A Cappella repertoire runs the gamut from 1950s doo wop to contemporary pop hits. Each year the glee club ensembles commission new charts of favorite pop songs to be composed specifically for the Alma College groups.
