Refer a Writer Alma College alumni, faculty, staff, current students and friends are encouraged to refer prospective students for the Alma College’s MFA in Creative Writing for the 21st Century. Prospective students who are referred for the program and who ultimately enroll receive the Alma College Refer a Writer Award. The award provides $1,000 per year for 2 years ($2,000 in total) in the name of the individual who referred them to the college. To be eligible, students must be referred prior to their acceptance to the program.
