Veterans and Military
At Alma College, we care about our service members and veterans and want to help you take the first step toward your graduate degree.
Are you thinking of pursuing a graduate degree? You may be looking to meet technical requirements for your job, or you are hoping to make a career move to a new profession. Maybe you want to become the writer you have always wanted to be and share the stories of your military experience. For many people looking to make a big life change, graduate school can be the first step.
At Alma College, we care about our service members and veterans and want to help you take that step. The college is offering the first graduate programs in its history, beginning with our low residency, two-year Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in Creative Writing. The MFA features award-winning faculty members who provide individualized mentorship and lead an exciting artistic community that meets twice a year in person for ten-day residencies.
You may have GI Bill® benefits that can apply to a master’s degree – contact the Financial Aid office at FinAid@alma.edu for more information.
