Alma Pride Abroad — Photos of you or your classmates in Alma gear during your time abroad
Landscapes —Your most stunning shots of the scenic landscapes you encountered abroad
Cross-cultural experiences — “We’re not in Alma anymore…” Your most eye-opening cultural experiences
Contest Rules and Submission Instructions
The study abroad photo contest is open to students who completed credit-bearing academic work outside the United States in the past year (e.g. approved study abroad program, spring term course, or independent study).
Photos must be your original work.
High resolution images (2MB+) are appreciated.
All submissions become property of Alma College and may be used without attribution. If you submit a photograph it is understood that you have granted this right.
Winners will be notified via email and will receive a gift certificate to College Corner.
To enter:
Email up to two entries per category to offcampusstudies@alma.edu.
With each entry, please include:
- Your name and email address
- The title of the photo, the location where the photo was taken and the name of your study abroad program
- The category in which you are entering the photo
- The names of individuals in the photo, where possible (e.g. other Alma students)
The submission deadline is the first day of International Education Week each year. Voting for the contest winners will take place around campus throughout International Education Week.
