2009 Fall Fitness Classes

Fitness classes are a great way to stay healthy. Fall classes include Hip Hop Dance, Pilates and Yoga, and Senior Fitness .  New and  exciting classes are always being added. Please continue to check back frequently!

Patty Herblet

Patty  has been a certified group instructor for over nine years. Pilates is her favorite class to lead. She is married to a wonderful man of 33 years and is a survivor of empty nest. She has three adult children who are all involved in education. Patti has one grandson and is patiently waiting for more. She loves to swim, bike, and walk.

Ricki Clarkson

Ricki has come back to Alma after many dance events such as "Monster's of  Hip- Hop" and "Red Bull Battle of the Year". He also teaches Hip- Hop dance here in Alma College's Dance Department.

Hip Hop is a fun, rythmic way to build confidence and stay in shape. the class will indulge in many of the Hip-Hop styles such as "Video Choreography," "Breakin," "Poppin," and a few others. Come learn, meet, groove, and get down with us at the Stone Rec Center

 

More than 100 Alma College students and staff traveled to destinations in South Carolina, Kansas, Tennessee, and Texas for service projects during winter break in February 2009. "Alternative Break service experiences continue to gain popularity on Alma College's campus," says Sallie Scheide, assistant director in the Center for Responsible Leadership.

Terra’s Spring Term experience in China is a tremendous help understanding the relationship the U.S. has with one of its largest trading partners. The business administration major from Monroe has seen first hand the economic effects on southeast Michigan of low-cost imports and Chinese monetary policies.
