Fitness Room

26 cardiovascular machines: six treadmills, nine stationary bikes, and three stair climbers, four elliptical trainers, one rower and a variety of weight machines and free weights.

Multi-Purpose Room

1,750 square-foot room; used for aerobics, dance, fencing, martial arts, meeting room, and other activities.

Stone Center for Recreation Raised Track

 

Suspended Running Track

Three lane track; eight laps equaling one mile on the inside lane and seven laps equaling one mile on the outside lane.

Shower/Locker Facilities

Shower stalls with dryng area; and half lockers, which are designed for daily use only.

Climbing Wall

Stone Center for Recreation Tennis Courts and Rock Climbing Wall

600 square foot climbing wall featuring eight belay stations and lead climbing routes.

 

Alma College students report levels of educational experiences and faculty interaction that exceed the national norms by significant amounts, according to the findings of the 2007 National Survey of Student Engagement. In the 2006 study, Alma students reported a level of interaction with faculty that ranked among the top five percent in the nation.
