Dining

Personalized dining experiences

At Alma College, the decision is not just about what to eat, but where to eat. Many dining options are available to please even the pickiest of palates.

Students enjoy a casual meal at Hamilton Commons, the main dining hall on campus

Students can use their meal plans or Munch Money, which is money built into each meal plan, at our on-campus facilities: Joe’s Place, Hamilton Commons and Van Dusen Lunch Express, all of which are run by Sodexo.

If you’re in the mood for a walk, you also can use your Munch Money at Alma’s off-campus dining partners: Stucchi’s, which is located in College Corner Coffee & Books, and Pizza One.

Worried about running out of Munch Money? No worries! It can be purchased and added to your meal plan throughout the year. You also can convert meals to Munch Money.

Because we understand that students have busy schedules, you also can “exchange” a meal from your plan at Joe’s Place under the Meal Advantage option. This gives you the opportunity to build a quality, convenient meal on your own time, your own way.

Colleges of Distinction, a national college guide for students, parents and counselors, identifies Alma College as "one of the best places to learn, grow and succeed." The Colleges of Distinction publication recognizes institutions for their commitment to engaged students, great teaching, vibrant communities and successful outcomes.
