Housing and Residence Life

Welcome to Housing and Residence Life

Located in the Student Life Office in Tyler-Van Dusen, we are happy to serve students in many capacities. Whether you have a question about your housing options, are having trouble with your roommate, would like to join a Greek organization, or are interested in any of the clubs or organizations on campus, our office is the place to visit!

Within our office you will find the Director of Campus Life, the Housing Coordinator, the five Hall Directors, the Director of Student Activities, the Student Judicial Coordinator, the Greek Life Advisor and the Vice President for Student Life. We also advise several organizations out of our office, including Student Judicial, the Alma College Union Board, the Little Siblings Weekend Committee, the Residence Hall Association, Greek Life and the Resident Assistants.

Please browse our pages to find information on Residence Halls, Small Housing, Greek Life, Student Activities, and student organizations, as well as varied other information about living at Alma College.

Thirty-four percent of Alma students participate in intercollegiate athletics. Alma College competes at the NCAA Division III level as a member of the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association, the oldest existing athletic conference in the nation. Alma offers 22 varsity sports—11 for the women and 11 for the men—including four sports that debuted in 2011–12: women’s lacrosse and bowling and men’s lacrosse and wrestling.
