Organizations

Alma College offers dozens of organizations for you to get involved in during your four years here.

If you want to go Greek, you can choose a social Greek fraternity or sorority.

Academically gifted students may be invited into one of the disciplinary academic honor societies.

Interest-based and professional interest groups also abound on campus, and they’re always seeking new members with fresh ideas and energy.

And if you enjoy performing service and wish to join a group that focuses on just that, Alma has many service-based organizations as well.

And if the group you’re looking for doesn’t exist yet, well, there’s another opportunity for you: start your own group!

More than one-third of all Alma students take part in at least one performance each year. The College offers majors in theatre, dance and music, but students of all majors may join in productions. The Remick Heritage Center for the Performing Arts is the region’s premier performing arts facility.

ā€œI’m going into equine-assisted psychotherapy, so before going on and becoming certified in family counseling, an undergraduate foundation in psychology will really help me with my future practice,ā€ she says.
