Why I got involved in Chapel: I thought it would be the best way to make connections with other Christians on campus. I’ve stayed involved because it is truly an exciting, caring and growing Christian community!

Why I applied to be a SMC: I knew God wanted to use me to bless others on our campus, and I felt like this was the place.

What I like most about being involved in Chapel: Being able to worship and lead others through music! I also love that it is an upbeat, welcoming community that is easy to invite friends to.

The biggest thing I’ve learned so far as a SMC: I’ve learned that this is a real life. Even the best of leaders have their worst days, but that’s where grace comes in.

Why I recommend other students get involved in Chapel: It’s a great way to start off your week focused on God, and it also opens doors for lots of other Christian-life activities on campus!

Hobbies and activities: Kiltie Marching Band, Big Brothers/Big Sisters, teaching Kindergarten Sunday school, stargazing, tutoring, Rollerblading.
