Ten students from Alma exhibited works in this juried show, including: Earl Elowsky (raku ceramics), Andrew Wright (stoneware teaset), Sue Wright (stoneware bowl), Maureen O'Connell (stoneware bowl), and Ashlee Forde ( sculptural table).

 

The Hogan Center is the first LEED-certified building (Silver level) for green construction at Alma College and in Gratiot County. Awarded by the U.S. Green Building Council and verified by the Green Building Certification Institute LEED is the nation’s preeminent program for the design, construction and operation of high-performance green buildings.

Dr. Barbara Knust knew she wanted to be a veterinarian, but the biology curriculum and professors are what brought her to Alma College.

“The Biology Department had a great reputation, and the knowledgeable and personable professors fed my curiosity to understand how biological processes work,” the 2000 graduate says.
