This course introduces advanced students to the broad discipline and career options. In addition to lecture and take-home exams, there is a semi-investigative laboratory. Most recently we also traveled to the regional SOT meeting and to tour industrial and academic Tox laboratories.
More than one-third of all Alma students take part in at least one performance each year. The College offers majors in theatre, dance and music, but students of all majors may join in productions. The Remick Heritage Center for the Performing Arts is the region’s premier performing arts facility.

Robyn Anderson grew up surrounded by athletics. Her father was a physical education teacher and owned a gymnastics club.
“Teaching and coaching was part of my life from the beginning as the entire family became involved with the business in one capacity or another,” the professor of exercise and health science says. “I love to teach, coach and learn, so these areas became my passion.”
