New Media Consortium
The New Media Consortium (NMC) is an international not-for-profit consortium of nearly 250 learning-focused organizations dedicated to the exploration and use of new media and new technologies. Alma College joined the consortium in January of 2008.
Since 2010, Alma College has added new majors in anthropology, new media studies, biotechnology, health care administration and environmental studies. The College also has completed several campus enhancements, including the Hogan Center, Art Smith Arena, Eddy Music Center and College Corner Coffee and Books.

With hours of reading and rehearsal, English and theatre can be two time-consuming majors.
Fitting both into one schedule is nearly impossible, but for Olyvia Brown ’14, it’s a labor of love.
