The Posey Global Leadership Scholarship provides opportunities for Alma College students to travel anywhere in the world and complete a self-designed project. What would be the point of college without professors? Sarah Ellsworth ’07 quickly learned the value of a good professor when she took a course with history professor Patrick Furlong.
“I’ll be forever grateful to him for caring enough about me to call me into his office for a very stern ‘talking to’ a few weeks into my freshman year,” she says, smiling. “Let’s just say I was having a little too much fun and not quite living up to my academic potential.”
