Research Interests

The structure and regulation of US media institutions and the impact of that structure and regulation on media content. The role of both entertainment and news media in the formation of attitudes about social groups and current events.

Alma College is one of the first undergraduate colleges in the United States to belong to the International Criminal Court Student Network (ICCSN). Created in 2006 by students at the London School of Economics, the ICCSN aims to promote the work of the ICC and increase knowledge of international criminal law. Alma joins Duke University School of Law, the University of Cambridge and other institutions in a global community that connects students who share an interest in the ICC.

Dave Sherwood was helping his brother pack when he came across an old paper from high school. Written when he was 17, it described what he thought his life would be like in 15 years.

He was shocked to find the paper actually described his current life.

Sherwood works as a doctor in the small mountain community of Ouray, Colo., where he lives with his wife and three children.
