More Details:

The latest release of Apple's Logic Studio, which includes Logic Pro 9, introduced over 200 new features. Perhaps the most eye-catching: Flex Time and Flex Editing. The Flex functions allow the user to manipulate and position individual notes and phrases in an audio recording. Join our interactive demonstration as we present an overview of Logic Studio with a focus on audio manipulation, time-stretching, and quantizing using the Flex Modes and Tools. Participants will have the opportunity to work with several audio and mixed media examples, each of which presents unique problems best addressed by utilizing the powerful Flex architecture in Logic Pro. Additionally, presenters will provide interdisciplinary perspectives on the practical applications of music, new media, computational media, and educational technology.
