Adjudicator for Michigan School Band and Orchestra Association's Solo and Ensemble Festivals

Annually adjudicated high school percussion soloists and ensembles since the mid-nineteen nineties.

 

Bob Devaney, a 1939 graduate of Alma College, went on to become known as one of the greatest coaches in collegiate football history. In his 11 years as head coach at Nebraska, Devaney produced 11 winning seasons with two national championships. He was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 1981. At Alma he played end and was the Scots’ Most Valuable Player in 1938.

Mary Kay Ecken gained a wide variety of skills by double majoring in exercise and health science and psychology.

“The combination of science, fitness and psychology prepared me for physical therapy school,” the 1995 graduate says. “As much as I need my medical and fitness knowledge, I use psychology to motivate patients every day!”
