Worked with Dr. Tracy and small group to commission and site a sculpture by Ken Thompson for the new Hogan addition. Worked with a group of art students to create cast relief and sand-blasted stone elements for the piece.
Alma College is among the top 40 baccalaureate institutions in the country for the percentage of students who choose to study abroad, according to a report published by the Institute for International Education. Among Alma’s graduates in the 2009–10 academic year, 61.4 percent participated in study abroad, which ranked 37th in the nation.

The Grand Rapids junior, who is pursuing a career in medicine, recently completed hospital rotations at Mid Michigan Health Center—Gratiot. She says observing a patient with Parkinson’s disease was something she’ll never forget.
