Ongoing, beginning May 1 2009. Recruit, assign manuscript reviewers for 2-3 manuscripts per month, assess reviews, communicate with editor, authors, reviewers. Responsible for final publication decisions on manuscripts and for editing final documents.
Alma College’s early acceptance agreement with the Michigan State University College of Human Medicine recognizes the College’s strengths in science and health education. The agreement reserves two admissions slots per year for Alma College pre-med graduates.

Kelsey Hughes ’09 was attracted to Alma College’s biochemistry program like a proton is attracted to an electron.
“I’ve always sort of been on the border right between chemistry and biology, so biochemistry was the perfect combination of both of my interests,” she says. “Alma also felt right to me. As soon as I set foot on campus, I felt at home. When I visited with professors and students, that feeling was only reinforced.”
