Disability Awareness Week Guest Reader
Shared a chapter of Disability Awareness week campus guest Johnny Tuitel's mystery novels with a fourth and fifth grade at Pine Avenue Elementary School in Alma.
Alma’s innovative PRISM project—Positive Routes Into Science and Mathematics—gets more students excited about science. It engages students in research opportunities not only in their first, second, third and fourth years of college but also in the summer prior to taking their first college course. PRISM is funded by a $500,000 grant from the National Science Foundation.

Brent Moeggenborg grew up in Alma and didn’t realize that everything he wanted in a college was right here.
“The pre-med and pre-dental programs are excellent and have a stellar track record for acceptance into graduate programs,” the 2000 graduate says.
